Some Partnerships will syndicate you a share/fraction/unit in a horse for a certain price than manage the horse for you through the extent of the horse’s racing career. At the end of the racing career the partnership controls full ownership rights in the horse. With Flying Dutchman you are in ownership of the horse (up to your percentage) for the life of the horse. If we are lucky enough to breed the horse, or breed to the horse, you also participate in the ownership of that operation.  |
 | When you fly with Dutchman you enter into a “TRUE” partnership with us because we always hold 40-50% interest in each horse. We bare most of the risk and have a vested interest in the success of the horse. FDT also has a broodmare program that offers opportunities in breeding and ownership in racing candidates at a younger age for discounted rates. Watching your horse grow from infancy, making it to the track and hopefully the Winner’s Circle is an experience you not only will appreciate but enjoy as much as anything else you could enjoy in life. Flying Dutchman Thoroughbreds wants to make its clients and potential clients fully aware that if you are considering entering into thoroughbred ownership the most important thing to understand is that your “potential profit” should not be measured monetarily but rather by the enjoyment, excitement and other perks that come with being a thoroughbred owner.
